No one is going to pay you a percentage when you have nothing to bring to the practice. How are you going to bring new business in that would warrant you being paid a commission? Are you part of a Practice or a Group in which you have your own patients? Do you have your own medical office and supplies? If you don't have any of these then you will probably be an employee. Since you have so much money to buy medical offices and supplies and Real estate why don't your hire a money manager. Also, eventhough there is a mortgage meltdown it is because most people thought they could profit from buying real estate and renting it out. They didn't make money on it so how will you do it different so that you make money? Even a foreclosed home in most markets will only break you even considering all the taxes, fees and mortgage you have to pay.
