It's really hard to get a job in a hospital if you have no medical background. But if you are a student they will offer you jobs like taking patients flower deliveries, taking them to their rooms, or similar stuff. Most people who do the office work are medical assistants and/or billers. There's this whole confidentiality which is very serious known as HIPAA and you will have to know about that. Also it's best if you know someone already working in the hospital so you can have more leverage in working there.

Many hospitals post their job listings on a bulletin board in the hospital. You should actually go there and look. Sometimes you have to take one of the less desirable ones (like billing) and wait a while (maybe 90 days to 6 months) to bid on one you might like better, like medical records or purchasing.
