  • Answer:

You will be doing 4 years BSRN, 3 ish years FNP (plus 1 year minimum nursing experience) in a career you really do not want to do, to then spend 4 years later (plus doing all the pre reqs again) to be a dentist? This really is not a smart pathway.

Why waste 3 years degree for nursing then have to train as a nurse practitioner when you have to then start at the beginning of a dentistry degree? If you want to be a dentist then start with that degree. Do you realise that doing the nursing degree you have to go out in work placements and they wont take kids into consideration, can you cope with a 6am start in a hospital and look after kids? Good Luck

It's a completely different course of study. Being an RN or FNP doesn't give you any shortcuts as any one else going to dental school. Only you can decide if it's worth it to you.

Being an RN has nothing to do with a dentist. TOTALLY different fields. RN takes 4 years. NP takes about 6 years. Dentist 8 years. To be a dentist you need a bachelors degree in science then you need to be accepted to dental school. To be a NP you need a bachelors degree in nursing then you need to get a master's in nursing. They have nothing to do with each other. You sound so stupid lmao.
