Should i become a Doctor or Paramedic?

I agree about looking into being a PA, you can generally work in an ER setting (especially in rural areas where there aren't as many physicians). You can write prescriptions, assist in surgery, see patients... Plus there is ALOT less schooling and you get paid WAY better than a paramedic. (Im not downing paramedics, I have a lot of respect for medics, its just that the pay tops out at like $45 grand) So basically, you need a 3.75 to be able to get into most PA schools, so volunteer now, and do whatever you can to get ahead in school.

Look into being a physicians assistant. It is almost a doctor but just below. A paramedic is much lower.

Hey, why don't you become a volunteer EMT. I think it should be an awesome experience. You might be too young, but it's worth researching. I would say become a doctor, but only you can decide for yourself. Paramedics don't get paid well enough for what they do! Also, try nursing. It's an awesome profession. Look up what CRNA's do.
