  • Answer:

Non-accredited is not good! Seriously, go to an accredited school. Talk to an advisor at a college with a dental assisting program in your area and ask them about the reqs, they will give you the appropriate information.

You could always opt for online dental assistant programs that are being offered by many schools now. Just make sure that they are credible though.

Why not ring a few practices and talk to the manager or the person who hires and ask them this question? You will not need to give any personal details and they should give you a simple honest answer. Some times short cuts are not really worth it, in the fact they will hold you back in the longer run. Shorter courses also will not perhaps give you enough relevant practical experience. The cuts in the course are what?

If you have a non credited you should still be ok. You might not look as good but u can still get hired. But really you should look into finacial aid. And sign up for scholarship programs. I did that and it helped me out a bunch i dont know why some people dont sign up for those things like fasfa and grants. It will help you pay for school
