    what's the name of the nursing home you work? nursing homes are not required to supply wipes for perineum cleaning. Never heard of nursing home that doesn't use towels. Using bed linens for perineum care is against OSHA rules (I think). Laundry can report the cna for this. Does the building have more than one story? Your floor's Hoyer lift was probably on a different floor. Make sure the facility has a "no lift" or "limited lift" policy or not. How is washing your hands with bar soap in the public or employee bathrooms not unsanitary/contamination? Soap can indeed become contaminated with microorganisms, whether it's in liquid or bar form. bars of soap are often covered with bacteria and carry a higher load than you'd find inside a liquid dispenser. Complain to administration about the laundry employees slacking.

Make an anonymous complaint to OSHA and the local board of health. You should also complain to the nurse manager in charge of that nursing home. Make a list at home or at work of all the problems you see and what items are missing. Yes I would apply elsewhere but immediately report them anonymously!
