What is the best way to answer question in an interview about previous employer and why you left that job?

I had alot of jobs including two separate branches of the military, and in my experience there r alot of reasons for leaving a job. It all depends on r u tell the truth to the person whos interviewing u, r they contacting ur old employer, did u get fired or leave for ur own reasons? If there not contacting ur old employer and u dont really want them to know why u left, u can say u moved or u left for safety reasons. No one is going to blame u for leaving an unsafe job, and what can they say if u told them u left because of an unforeseen move.
