I am currently an 18 year old college student who wants to work at a hospital over the summer. Volunteering is an option if I cannot find any openings, but I'd really love to work ...show more

You would have to check the hospital's HR department or website. Most jobs are only for experienced workers. Those that don't need a lot of experience is usually housekeeping/maintenance, transport and kitchen staff. For you, I would go with transport. You'll have direct contact with patients and you can ask the different departments about what they do.
