    You won't "eventually get an RN", you will get an RN out of the associates program (if you get the ADN), and you pay may be equal to the bachelors RN (many places do not distinguish ADN from BSRN at the bedside), so you can be in no hurry to get to the university--you can save up for awhile. You will be in good shape, particularly if you work somewhere where they give you tuition assistance.

YES, if you work in hospital or nursing home most employer are willing pay for you education especially if it is work related you have to go talk to your H/R or Sup/Manager and I believe you have to manage "B" average Good Luck

You are licensed as an RN out of an AA program from a community college. But have fun in the 2 year or more waitlists just to get into a nursing school for your AA alone. It will take you more than 2 years just to get an AA where you live. And no, AA's do make a lot of money depending on where they work and how many hours, but BSN's do get paid more. That is a common misconception that they dont. Many RNS go back to get their BSN so they can have that status and more pay. My mom is an RN and friends as well. She works 2 jobs, 5 days a week and makes close to 200 grand a year working in ICU
