People who are CNA(nursing assistants) do you like your job???

im already an RN but i think that practicing as a CNA first isnt bad at all. in fact i think it's helpful since you get to take care of patients without all the heavy responsibilities of an RN. from your experience you'll learn what you should and should not do as an RN so that you'll be ready when you get your RN license. phlebotomy is also a plus in your record as a nurse. it can be very challenging at times. practice makes perfect here. good luck!

I feel stuck as a CNA. Like someone else said, the pay isn't good and it is a well respected job. I always laugh when Nurses say they don't feel respected. They have no idea, unless they have worked as CNAs. You wouldn't believe how poorly Nurses, patients, and family members of patients will treat you. It isn't so much that I don't like the job, but I don't want to be stuck here. I want to move towards the administration side of health care. But nursing homes and hospitals want to hire you as a CNA if that is what your background is in.
