An RN is an RN. Everyone takes the same state board/NCLEX to become an RN. Right at this moment, due to the economy Hospitals want experience only, but if you're in a larger metropolitan area nursing residency programs are more prevalent. Good Luck!

Sure, but you will be more valuable and make more money with a better degree. When you get closer to the end of your program your school should help you secure a job and give you some type of intern-type experience.
