What jobs can you get with an associates degree in general science?

    Associates degrees that are not in a specific allied health field or technical field are geared towards the transfer student who is going on to a 4 year University. They are considered a general education degree moreso than a free standing degree that you can get into a specific field. All of your classes are going to be considered general education level courses. While I have noticed a trend of Community Colleges adding different degree majors to the end of the Associates degree (i.e. Associates of Human Services, Associates of Sociology, Associates of Psychology, Associates of General Sciences, etc) it is really just your general education classes in those particular majors.

I am not sure there is anything specific. Perhaps you can get one in the clerical side of a hospital or in research as a low level lab helper. Almost all more specific careers require specialized training or education.

Essentially the same jobs you can get without an AA. Most employers don't consider an AA degree, especially in a nonspecific major like "science", a college degree.
