Im thinking of takeing a medical transcription course at home should i do this?

Honestly, with the EHR technology that is being implemented, my opinion is this is not a real stable career field to go into. Coding may be a better choice.

Consider general transcription because you won't have to spend any money on expensive courses. As someone suggested above, you will have to brush up on your spelling.

It's a huge investment (the medical version costs almost two grands), but it pays for itself after a while. p.s. Don't think I am trying to be rude, funny, or picky, because you might have been in a hurry.. Your typos (or just plain misspellings) might not be good for this career.
