No, you just need to take the Nursing Assistant class at a College or anywhere that offers it. After passing it, you will obtain your certification and then you need to apply for the State test so you can obtain your state certification. There you will need to take a 75 question written exam and a hands-on skills exam, you need to pass both to obtain the State Certification. You also need this state certification in order to work anywhere. Also keep in mind that you need experience at most places (6 months) in order to be able to work at all. Good Luck!

I don't think so! To become a certified nursing assistant ) is a lot less strenuous, requiring short study courses from a certified nursing school. However, nursing assistants may also have full authority in some instances when delegated by seniors, particularly where they have sufficient skills and training to provide full care.
