    I have quite a few friends that work in the healthcare industries, especially in hospitals, and 2 of them are radiology technicians. Healthcare is a great field to get into. Its a lot quicker path if you go to a school that specializes in what you want. My suggestion is to find some schools, request information, and talk to them about different programs. I know quite a few of my friends used some site called betterthanschool.com. It is really easy to use and it finds schools near you and online programs. Give it a shot. And by the way, just because you haven't been in a classroom in a while doesn't mean anything. Just choose a program that interests you and you will be perfectly fine. Good luck!

You need to do some research about different positions in the medical field. If you really want to be a nurse look up all the information you can find about it on line and you can also check the library. I think that any job you get can be stressful so that is no reason to disregard nursing based on what your uncle said. He is talking from his experience and maybe that was not the right job for him anyway, so he is going to be stressed if he didn't choose the right job. Talk to a nursing instructor at you local college as well as some students, particularly someone almost ready to graduate. If you actually choose another job in the medical field, or any other field, you need to do the same as mentioned above. Read up on it and talk to people who have experience and training in that field. Best wishes for a good choice for your career.
