  • Answer:

It depends on where you are. In california, just getting in the Nursing program takes you about 2 yrs on the waiting list. To get into BSNursing. You need to have an AA degree and already an RN to get into the BSNursing college. That will take you longer. Other states, not as complicated as California. Here's a link of colleges and universities that offers nursing program in your area. Or you can click on the "Get Started" tab to start on your research. Good luck!

it's never too late to go back to school. It wouldn't matter if your were 52 years old today. You can still go to school. Anyway, you can go to a Community College & talk to a counselor. It also depends on what type of Nurse you want to be? If your just looking to become a Registered Nurse, you can question the counselor how many credits is needed to get into the Nursing Program? The program takes 2 years for Registered Nursing. I think it's a great field. GOOD LUCK!

It's never too late. You can get your ADN (Associate's Degree in Nursing, just be sure they have the RN option) in around two years at a technical college. After that, you can go on to a university and get into the ADN to BSN program if you'd like a bachelor's. That is exactly what I did, and now I'm working on my Master's. I'm 27. Good luck!

Many Community Colleges have nursing programs, and it's usually a two year degree, but, some of them have incredible waiting lists, but if your grades or entrance exams are high enough, you can move up the list fairly quickly. If not...you can at least get your general requirements done while you wait for a spot, remembering that each A would move you up. However best to check with your intended choice school on what exactly is the procedure. It's never too late to start or restart school. I wish you the best of luck.
