Is a job doing medical billing and coding good for someone who doesn't like a lot of social interaction?

That would be perfect for you. I'm a medical transcriptionist for a large hospital and I work from my home. All of the billers and coders have that choice too. You may have to train at the hospital for a certain period of time (like I did)...but once you've met their requirements you can work from home.

yea something like that would be good for you. you would probably work in an office all day with papers, but I'm not sure. They also have customer service people at medical billing offices and those people have alot of interaction with patients.

I'm not really sure but I heard that if you work with someone who delivers lumber, you don't have to talk to anyone. That's what one of my friends told me. Good luck! =D
