What does an EMT do during his/her job?

If you are an EMT in one state, can you get a job in a different state as an EMT?

    You can do whatever you like, Aldo. Just call the place you want to work and ask them if they will take your certification as is or if there are other requirements for THEIR facility :)

You need to qualify separately in each State. Being licensed in one doesn't transfer automatically to another. You might be required to take additional training depending on what was covered in the training you already obtained. I don't know the specifics for those two States. Usually you would simply take the tests if you meet the requirements otherwise.

some states require different cirterier. you just need to call and see. here at ours we have several diffent employess working that are out of state and town. its more like a tri county area and we all require the same stuff. i think you will be good to go aldo.
