Should I persue a career in nursing or teaching?

If you want to deal with annoying kids, teaching. If you want to deal with annoying adults, nursing. The money might be a little better for nurses, but that depends on what school you teach at. One thing's for sure, don't go to law school. It's hell. I know, I'm still burning.

I would go into nursing because you will ALWAYS have a job. Plus, most nurses are in unions and get great pay & benefits.
