Short answer: You're not fit to be a nurse if you worry more about cleaning someone up. Long answer: Someone has to do it. One day, someone you love - your parents, your spouse, your child, will require a loving care of a nurse. You just hope and pray that this nurse doesn't go "eeew" when your love one takes a dump. p.s. Don't even think that a new grad will get a job at a dermatology office. First of all, you won't be allowed to do any Botox™ injection. The only thing an RN can do independently in a dermatology office is laser hair removal (or other laser skin treatment machine) and by all means, they are not without risks (you can burn the patient's skin quite badly if you don't do it correctly). And honestly, it is extremely tedious and is not glamorous at all. Imagine holding a gun (because that is what a laser wand looks like) and point it at someone's arm pit (or groin) all day long. Meanwhile, you press the trigger and it fires the laser beam. Then you move to the next spot (which is smaller than a dime) repeatedly. After a while, you hand feels like it's going to fall off because it hurts so much.

You don't sound like you're cut out to be a nurse. Cosmetician sounds like a much better choice for you. Leave nursing to those who have the desire and the capacity to do it.

Ultimately, being a nurse always has it's advantages and disadvantages. Usually the jobs that are hiring most are usually caregivers and nurse assistant. Job descriptions of these are; Hygiene care (taking patients to restroom, bathing, getting dressed, etc), cleaning (rooms/homes), medications, preparing food (optional), and even running errands. Things like "disgusting" would be possibly having to change the patients bed (if an accident occurs)/ diapers, take patient to bathroom and Assist them (if necessary), bathe patient/ clean patient, and anything related. Other than that, there are some nurse assistant jobs that don't require this, it just depends on the employer and what they're looking for.

There are all kinds of nurses that all have different specialties. Some work in ER's, or other departments in hospitals, some work in private practices, some work for hospice and are traveling nurses, flight nurses and the list goes on. You really need to do some soul searching on what it is about nursing that interests you, and then start networking with people who can point you to a school that focuses on that type of nursing. Once you identify the school, you can meet with them and understand what you need to do to qualify as a student, and potentially get a referral to a job shadow to see if it's really what it sounds like.
