What fields of nursing would i be able to make alot of money doing?

Flight nursing..... It takes years of ER and ICU experience, but in the end, it is very much worth it. That's what I'm going for. Hope it helps! Jeremy

Nurse anethesitist (sp?) They can make 6 figures.

nurse practitioner, any specialty such as cardiac care or critical care. NICU

A Nurse Practioner makes about the same as a Physicians Assistant, up to $85,000 per year to start in some locations. But nursing school is going to take you at least a year and a half, then you need an additional 6 years to be a Nurse Practioner.

RN. Critical Care

Dependent on the skill-set but new-hires have to begin somewhere. If you are looking for the long term I suggest going after a Nurse Anesthetist certification. A CRNA will provide a six-figure income, but requires educational efforts above and beyond your RN. Go for the RN and use it while going for the CRNA. Advanced specialization will provide the income you are asking for.

there is no money in nursing. we do it because we love body fluids and have no career objectives. in aust a 8yr thereafter makes about 65,000 + a year before tax, depending on shifts. you could try working in switzerland, but you have to be bi-lingual at least. maybe working for a cardiac surgeon doing research etc, but i don't think the money is that good. saudi is supposed to pay well, tax free.
