Do you think nursing is a good career?

Nursing is a great career and very much in demand.

The Cash is good but it is REALLY stressful at the bedside nursing level. I hate it and I am ready to change careers after 7 yrs.

Yes if you work in us or aus, not the nhs in england.Don't ever transfer there!

Yes it is .But only if you have compassion for the sick and the elderley.You have to care for people i have been a nurse for 25+ years and i love it i wouldnt change my career for anything!!!

It doesn't matter what I think about a nursing career but it does matter how you feel about it. I happen to be a nurse and I LOVE it! I have always wanted to be a nurse and I find it extremely rewarding personally and professionally. I have found the reason most people go into nursing is because they like and want to help people....but there are other areas in the health field as well.

Yes, if you enjoy people and caring for them. It's hard (school) and clinical and some days are stressful in your job but over all you will always have a job and can branch out to an area - :O)

yes, it's one of the fastest growing professions. you'll never be out o a job. But you have to be able to stomach some of the things that go wrong with people and be willing to clean a soiled person often. It's a very a compassionate career

yes, you get a lot of reward from helping other people plus, there is a lot of demand in that field
