What would you have to major in to become a video game designer?

I want to become a graphics designer, or a video game programmer. What should i do?

    A+, MCS, MCSE... those kind of stuff. take computer science. i recommend computer engineering though. computer science is more on software , engineering is more on hardware. i say engineering coz u really only need to learn the basics of programming really and you can just read codes and do a trial and error. PLUS you get to learn how to fix your PC yourself so if programming jobs get layoffs you have repairing PCs as a job to fall back on. i took programming and wish i took engineering instead.
