if i want to do web design for my career. Do i have to go to a regular college or can i go to a class that specifically teaches this? and what are other intresting careers that ...show more

Web design can be quite a lucrative career, but you must specialize. By this I mean, what exactly about web design do you want offer. Imagine saying you will be a doctor and not specializing? You can offer front-end web design (building graphical user interfaces or GUIs) which primarily uses Photoshop and Dreamweaver or, you can offer backend design, which is essentially coding and database management. You *can* provide both however, but it is best to be REALLY good at something. Oh, and I disagree with bidding low "at first." That is an extremely deceptive practice, and if you do win the contract, it will only be headaches (too much work for the price).
