Asking these kind of questions can often lead you to a wrong path. You could easily get scammed. As for the actual helpful answer, you should try your luck with freelancing sites like Odsek, Freelancer, Fiverr, etc There you can write articles, be a virtual assitant, do video testimonials for websites / products, etc. There is a lot more you can do but it would take too much time for me to write everything here. I have a guide for making money off Fiverr on my blog and I suggest you read this first -> http://johngrginov.com/a-sellers-guide-to-fiverr/

There are work-from-home jobs out there that are not scams. Several companies have positions for customer service like West At Home. I thought about doing that but the homeowner (my dad...I pay rent to him) will not permit the installation of a second phone line. You can also freelance thru oDesk. The downside is you're competing for jobs with people from all over the world who will purposely underbid everyone so only they get the project. I tried that one for CAD design work but the competition was too stiff and I was never awarded the project. You can post a resume on Craigslist and specifically state you want to be able to work from home. Actually, that is how I got my current part-time CAD design job. :) Please do not take Amanda's suggest of an in-home daycare. Daycares have all sorts of health and legal requirements that must be met. On top of that if you live in a zoned city like I do it is illegal to conduct any business requiring visiting clientele in a residential area. I have a neighbor on my street who is doing just that. Not only is it extremely annoying but it is also illegal since my neighborhood is not zoned for business. Some mornings I go out to my car and I can't get out of my own driveway because some parent parked their car in my driveway right behind my car. I forgot...the lady running this in-home daycare told her clients that they may only park their cars in the neighbor driveways. No parking on her driveway or in the street.
