    Yahoo did an article on this a few days ago. Polysci is one of the more difficult majors to get a job in. I know someone who had a polysci major. Never did get a job in this field. After several years of unemployment, they got an ordinary clerk/typist job for the government.

Do you want to be a politician? If yes, it's fine. If no, it's a waste of time, Frankly, even if you do want to be a politician, I'd avoid it. We already have far too many politicians who have never worked in the real world and are out of touch, having gone straight from Uni to Westminster. Get a proper job for five years, then look at politics.
