How feasible is it to work from home as a computer programmer?
-
I don't really mean freelancing. I mean working remotely for a company.
-
Answer:
Possible, but unlikely. Most places will let you work from home on occasion, like once or twice a week, but working full time remote is only allowed in fairly rare situations. Even then you'll still be expected to come into the office every so often.

Have you already asked your employer about it? Many companies are already giving this option to their employees, where they set a day each week for some team meeting or huddle session to talk about important things about work.
