Which degree is more suited for my career choice as a Computer Tech Support?

With today's job market, just about all tech support positions really want a bachelors degree - not just an associates - and preferably a bachelor's of science. The actual field (CS/Network/Engineering) isn't as important although I'd choose CS - it's a broader field, and should better prepare you to focus on a specific area after you graduate. Are you really sure you want to pursue a career in tech support? It's literally THE poster-child of the outsourcing trend. Even internal IT-support for many US companies is no longer located in the US. About the only thing that can't be done remotely is physical hardware support (i.e. "it's busted, please fix it.") IT is a field that can't be easily outsourced (someone has to be physically onsite you know...) and in my opinion, a lot more stable of a field than tech support. IT and tech support do have a fair bit of overlap as well.
