  • Answer:

You definitely need to get the proper training to get a position in programming. Now the good thing is that there are multiple programs now where you can get training without a diploma - private universities that offer a GED then an Associates or Bachelors or just certification in certain languages and most of them offer financial aid. Go to this site and check out the "Careers and Education" banner - fill out the form and you'll get free information from multiple schools. good luck...... http://www.employment-link.com/thanks

Hi hun, I am sure that you will be able to find some work, however you will struggle for decent pay. An education is your best back up. You should not need to walk the isle to get you deploma. If this is high school, get your GED. If this is college or university level keep looking for grants. Reguardless of your grades, someone will give you money to better yourself. I know that this is not what you want to hear... but please, I am talking from personal experiance. I did not graduate college the first time I went because I had found my dream job (doing lighting on Broadway). Well, due to a car accident, I can not do this work anymore and I had no deploma to back me up. At 27 I am returning to college now to get my BA (I had enough credits from my last educational endevor to continue and I was a B-C student). It is hard working for pennies and going to school at the same time. Don't give up hun, you don't need to walk the isle but your degree will help you in more ways than you realize. This is not the time of our parents and grandparents... this is our time and unfortunatly academics is just as important as experiance. I wish you the best of luck in whatever you choose to do and support where others may put you down. If you just need someone to talk to, please feel free to email me through here. I only wish that you do not make the same mistakes that I did. Good luck.

It's almost impossible to get a job without a highschool diploma. You'll have a hard time convincing any prospective employer that you're capable of computer programming if you don't have some knd of degree.
