Yeah 90K is good. Florida is not so expensive, but if your planing on living in the South Florida metro area (Miami all the way up to West Palm Beach) then your gonna have to lower your cost of living just a little to enjoy a lot more. Places like Orlando and cities in central and North Florida will be good for the income you have and basically your planned out expenses.

For sure that is realistic; especially since Florida was one of the hardest hit states of the recession. Housing prices tanked and interest rates are at an all-time low. You can get a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house in a good part of Miami for around $200K and you also don't have to pay state income tax. Plus, it's a good climate if you can deal with the summer humidity and the fall hurricane risks.
