Is a computer career a good start?

Is it possible to start a computer career in your 30's?

  • I have a degree in another field. It's discouraging that there are so many 12 year old computer geniuses and I feel like a late starter.

    It's never too late. want to be a computer technician? it is possible between 6 months to 1 years study / internship, you could have a full time job in IT paying $12-14 an hour. If this sounds good to you, look into Comptia A+ certification, Comptia Net+ certification, and lastly MCSE certification. These certifications you can study with a book, and you go to a prometric / pearson testing center to take the exam. If you pass, well, you get your certification and you become wanted by employers. If you do indeed go this route, I recommend looking into getting an internship over the summer at a computer repair shop or indeed best buy's geek squad. 2-4 years in IT and many other IT certifications can get you making $15-17 per hour..

It's never too late. However...if you don't know much about computers at your age...it probably means you're not good at it and not passionate about it.

I'm one of those geniuses, i learned how to code HTML, then CSS, JavaScript, Java and Python. I ended up modding programs FL Studio and Ableton Live 8 to work in sync for music production, Also made my own Operating system that is Hive-based. Have a Quantum-based Cloud computer setup, i'm quoting someone when i say it's the most powerful computer that's not within the CIA's grasp. My OS sells for $200, check it out it's called Aero. I have the potential to make from 80 bucks an hour getting hired by companies to do stuff... $5,000 a day with Music production, but Private Ventures usually pay upwards of those two sums, combined. You're anything but a late starter, all you need to have is a basic knowledge of coding, Math, Quantum mechanics, Electronic Warfare (Via Private Ventures), and you're set! The rest is you, i made a whole OS because Windows is the worst thing that ever happened to a computer, and Linux wasn't compatible with the Quantum portion of my setup, so the Quantum CPU couldn't be read. But now i'm a successful Electronic Composer, You have the potential to be one too. Good luck, i hope you find answers.
