If you are the investigative type-you would do great in computers. Computer programmers, Networking, Database Administrators...etc. I have a book called "The 200 best jobs for introverts". It is $16 new and I purchased it at Barnes and Noble. The books breaks it down by best paying, best growth, how often you are interupted in work, how much removed from the public. I believe that was the best book I ever purchased on jobs for my personality type. It gave me a great overview in the front of the book and then when into details (which I love) about each and every job, the duties and what personality type is best for each job. It also stated what kind of degree is needed for the jobs-or if no degree is needed. As far as the 6 figure income goes-don't sweat it! You don't need to be good in public speaking. You just need to be good with what you do and show that you can get your job done. I'm a senior in college and when you decide what you want to do (if HR is your path, then a business degree will do) you will find out that your 300-400 level classes will have more focus on your major. One other thing to remember. You probably will not earn a 6 figure income your first year out of college. Start out with a resonable goal. If you go for something technical, you can expect to earn (starting) about $40,000 and if you have a masters, it will go up to about $60,000-$75,000 a year. The more years you have behind you, the more you earn. So, if you are 25 now...you are done with your 4 year degree by age 30, and 10 years later you have experience built up---you could be well on your way to earning that 6 figure income. I myself don't want that much. Just enough to not have to worry-I'd be so happy with $40-50K a year as a single person.

All the job counselors tell us "do what you love"! Do you love building things? Do you love animals? There are so many things that you could do! The world is your oyster!!! Since your focus seems to be on your speaking in public... you should check into workshops etc. Talk about what you are knowledgeable and passionate about, that will make things easier! Also you could practice speaking in front of family or friends. They will give you honest feedback. There are many that OVERCOME their shyness! Some people are afraid of heights and go on roller-coasters and OVERCOME those fears! I know prayer has helped me to overcome in areas that I was uncomfortable with, including public speaking! I'll say prayers to the Heavenly Father for your heavenly guidance! I'm sure you'll OVERCOME those fears or anxieties!

Engineering would be a good one, what about forensics I don't know personally but I wouldn't think you would have to deal with a lot of people in a job like that, Programming or web programming would be another good one - accounting would be an exceptional one as long as you don't mind dealing with people one on one - or working for a large corporation.
