Follow your dreams man, never let anyone tell you you are not good enough. But you should still have a back-up plan. You're backup plan should be something you love too, if you don't want to be a plumber, then don't even consider it. Judging by how set your dad is on you being a plumber, I am guessing that is what he does. Just explain to him that even though he enjoys plumbing, that isn't what you want to do.

Hello. I'm in the same boat as you except im a girl. My mam wants me to go into theatre-singing dancing crap and i wanna do volcanology (volcanoes) Anyway.... If i was you I would stick with your own thoughts because that way you could be happy because it was what YOU wanted to do. Also haveing the knowledge of computer is always a good thing because technology is always going to be around as its growing throughout the world. I'd stick with IT if I were you. Tell your dad that you want to be happy not just doing a job because you have to. Hope I helped :) <3

well plumbing will be good for the future and thats where the money comes into it, not sure about IT it depends what you actually want to do in IT
