Your best strategy is probably going to be networking, not going to websites. I tried the website route for almost two years, and it netted me nothing. What helped me get a job was knowing someone who worked in a company that needed someone with my skills. I have real doubts about how many employers actually use places like Monster; I suspect far more job-seekers go there than job-offerers. You might try talking to your professors to see if they know of anyone in the field that has openings. That's how my husband got his first computing job--he was referred by one of his professors.
