The benefits of an internship: - gaining experience so you can get a job when you are out of school - making contacts so when you are out of school you will have people to help you locate a professional job. Ramifications of quitting: - your professors will know that you did not complete your internship. In many schools you need the internship to graduate - not being recommended for future internships or full time positions. - losing the opportunity to have something on your resume that places you apart from other recruits.
