What are good government paying jobs?

Government jobs that pay 200K are very rare, if they exist at all. In the federal service system, a top GS-15 may be able to make close to that, but it takes years (decades?) to work your way up. To get there, you really have to distinguish yourself in your professional service, generally through leadership and initiative, and making lots of professional friends through networking. By then, your college curriculum will be largely irrelevant. It won't matter if you've taken calculus or economics or whatever. Focus on nailing down the courses that you do take. Don't be afraid to reach a bit, even if it means a possible lower mark than the easy courses. Plan ahead too to graduate school. TAKE A FOREIGN LANGUAGE. If you already have one, take more of that language.
