What are some jobs to do in a average neighborhood?

Is jacksonville a good neighborhood to move in? what is rent like for a 1br apt average, jobs (social work)?

  The previous responder apparently isn't all that familiar with JAX FL. First off, while largest in area, it certainly isn't in population (ever heard of Miami?). Secondly, 3-digit temperatures are a rarity there (certainly not 110+). Granted, it may well feel like it with humidity factored in, but still. As for apartments, my personal experience there is about 10 years old, but at that time I had a 2BR apartment for around 600/month. Doubtless the prices are higher, but the apartment complex building boom around town shows no signs of slowing, so should be lots of options. Have no idea with regards to social work jobs specifically, but employment in general is pretty good - lots of major employers in town (Blue Cross, Merrill Lynch, Citicards, Fidelity Financial, CSX, etc.)
