Furthermore, if you were on a career-conditional appointment, you are eligible for reinstatement for three years after your date of separation, so when you're searching for vacancies on USA Jobs, you can now check "jobs for federal employees" and see twice as many opportunities for which you may be eligible to apply. You will have to submit a copy of your separation SF-50 with your application to support your claim that you previously held a career-conditional position, though.
