No. Veterans get 5 or 10 points added to their final score. So, for example, if you get a 90 on the written exam, and they get an 88, they would end up with at least a 93. Get the highest score that you can. Prepare as much as possible. Find out if they recommend or offer a particular study guide. If so, use it. If not, buy a couple and use them.
