Hi paisano/a: You need to be certified by the state where do you live and in some cases it depends on re-validating (or transcripts) your studies in Mexico and pass the state test to become certified. You need to check the requirements, because most of this is if you want to provide counseling services. You can look for info in the official web page of your state, ask a librarian or a college counselor, or even look in the Internet about the National Association of Social Workers about the certification process: http://www.socialworkers.org/ce/default.asp Some non-profits can take your Mexican certifications and studies as valid if you take the trainings and requirements they can ask you to go...
