  Not a scam. Just a complete waste of your time. They hire 100% of all who apply. Mostly college kids. You sell $700 sets of knives to your friends and relatives. Then you have to find new customers. That would be fine if they limited their hiring to 20 people in every city. But you will find out that they have hired hundreds or thousands in your city. There were lots of complaints because Vector charged you $147 to buy a set of demo knives. You wanted a job and they turned you into a customer. They now provide a demo set. Selling $700 sets was difficult in the good times. Now it is almost impossible. Look at their job offerings that say $15.55 or $16.50 or $17.45 "base pay". Most applicants think they are going to get paid that amount. It is written that way on purpose.
