How do you heal cracked heels?

Answer:
After a bath or shower use a pumice stone to get the roughness and skin off the heel and hard spots. Before your feet are totally dry, rub petrolium jelly on your whole feet, don't be stingy with it. wear socks afterwards, or over night. Keep this up for a few days and you see big results. Every time you shower, always put the jelly or creams made for extra dry skin on your feet and heel. Don't walk bare feet so much, wear socks or slippers. That's one big cause of rough dry feet.

Before bed every night... Soak feet in Epsom salts. Then use a pumice stone to exfoliate. I squirt body oil right onto the pumice stone before using so that the oil gets driven right into your heels. Now partially dry off feet and apply a nice body butter and a pair of white cotton sox. Now... the most important part~ Dr. Scholl's inserts for your shoes. Okay, I know it sounds so old... however they work! You need to cushion the landing on your heels so they don't have so much pressure. You probably walk hard on your heels, don't you? Try the inserts... they're like walking on clouds and your heels will repair in no time. You have to do all of these things for anything to work.

Get your feet nice and clean and very dry. Be sure to get between your toes. Rub a heavy coat of Vaseline all over them. Wrap them in Saran rap and put socks on over that, Wear it to bed. The next morning wash feet well and rub with lotion before dressing for the day. Repeat each night and soon you'll have nice soft heels.

you soak your feet in plain water or water with epson salt and then use a foot file to scrub your heels to remove dead skin , then you can buy emu oil or lotion to soften your skin. You should do this at least a couple times a week to keep your heels soft.

1st off you must remove the dead skin. (done once monthly) There is a tool made for this in your local drug store. Soak your feel 1st, remove dead skin & then apply a good foot smoothing cream.

vaselene and cling film on the top and socks over the top of that change it daily, wash and gently dry before the next vaselene do this for 2 days after you think it has repaired bcoz skin on heel is hard and in the split is soft you might want something like savlon creme before the vaselene on some days, rub well in <gently>
