Unfortunately, I regret joining this business. What a waste of time and energy! Why should you avoid? - 24 hours of unpaid intense training - You need $150 to get started - You may get paid $16 dollars per demo, ONLY if you follow Cutco's strict guidelines (You have to make your own appointments which takes unpaid hours and preparation!) I fell for this trick thinking I would make my demo appointments and get paid. WRONG! I made 6 appointments and ending up NOT getting paid. - Bosses/Coaches are highly manipulative and encouraging because they earn 30% of most your sales. - Inconsiderate towards ethics and morals. They teach you to persuade in a very manipulative/brainwashing/GREEDY manner. They also encourage lying! - You need your own transportation to get to your appoints. Transportation fees are NOT covered! - I worked only part time... and I'm experiencing acne breakouts and major debt because of them! Not only did this happen to me but many of my peers as well. - Like the person above me said... You're going to make a TON OF PHONE CALLS and takes hours and hours of unpaid work. - If you do decide working for them... You'll probably do well in the beginning but it's not worth it for all the hard work and time put in. Don't waste your time. We're all better off working at a minimum wage job at a bargain store. :)

It's a waste of time and your money. You'll have to buy your own sample knives which will set you back a lot, then you have to try to sell knives. They're decent knives, but in the end you end up having to try to pressure the people you're trying to sell to into giving up their friend's names to try to sell to them too. A friend of mine tried to do it in university. He's comfortable with sales, but even he gave up quickly because it's pretty much a scam.

I got a letter from them about a month or two ago and I didn't know who that was or what they did so I looked it up and read that was a SCAM, just letting you know.
