What is the difference between a team member and a sales associate?

I'm becoming a Target sales floor team member, what should I expect?

    ok I was an In-Stocks team member and we worked close with the sales floor team members and the backroom....basic you are the store's ***** you have to answer every buzzer you hear over the walkie which most of the time are guess and you have to respond in under 1 minute. You have to help guess find things on the sales floor. And worst of all...dum dum dummmmmm you have to do RESHOP and ZONING reshop is when you get random stuff on a shopping cart and you have to put it on back on the shelf which can take you all around the store and zoning you have to straighten up things that guest mess up on the sales floor plus you can't hide because you always have a walkie you it's easier for your boss to keep up with you. And that's pretty much all you do is be pestered all day enjoy...its not that bad but go for instocks the shift is over quicker your whole team goes on break at the same time but you get a 8 rate pay while others get 6 or 7 ;) hope that helps

You don't have to get anyone to sign up for a credit card unless your a cashier. But you do have to get the sales floor clean and put away a lot of go backs.

u should expect to deal with all types of people n to just remember to keep ur composure because u r going to deal with all types of attitudes being a target employee is not hard but i wouldnt describe it as easy either,, the target credit card only applies to the cashiers,u dont have to get a certain amount of people to sign up but it is best n cashiers r supposed to ask all customers if they would like to apply for the card i told u that because as a target day employee u will need to know how to work the cashier because when the store gets backed up they will more than likely ask u for ur assistance
