Selling Avon question.?

HI, I have done it before, you get payed in commissions for what you sell, but it is a lot of work since you have to get the customers and this days, you can get Avon products at a store. Make sure that if you are going to invest time and money on this is something that you can do, find if you have the customers, because you have a minimum to purchase every month. I work from home now with my home biz, it is a lot easier than Avon and you can make a lot more without selling or deliveries. I've never worked for Avon, but I assume it works like any other type of business. You would probably take orders from customers, purchase the products from Avon at the wholesale price, then sell them for the prices listed in the book (plus taxes). The difference between what you pay and what you take in would be your "pay" or profit--minus the taxes, got to pay the government. They will likely give you the financial balance sheets that show you how to do the calculations.
