    i suppose telemarketing can be good , if you are a good saleman and can take the abuse of peple who you are rude enough to call randomly and make your pitch to. you will likely work at a call center and be paid based on sales with a minimal guarenteed hourly wage .ihave my phone listed with national do not call registry to block telemarketers and routinely hang up on any that get through .

It's a job that will bring you absolutely no satisfaction. You'll be calling strangers on the telephone and giving them a pre-made speech about a product or service you are selling. You'll be doing this around dinner time so many people will be disturbed while they are trying to enjoy their meal by your call. You'll be hung up on, yelled at, put on hold and then abandoned.
