I don't know how hard you are willing to work, but I found a site that ACTUALLY WORKS!! its called financial-freedom-fight. Don't under estimate the name, I have been using it for about 6 months now, and it fills the gap when my personal training biz slows down..... and lately its been really slow. Go check it out, you wont be disappointed :)

"If a company requires initial payment from you in order to work for them, they are not legitimate." There are a few legitimate data entry companies but are not hiring and have large waiting lists (1-2yrs). The majority of data entry jobs you seen online are scams. A real company will want you to have skills inc fast typing, may want you to know MS Excel, and will usually ask that you have high speed internet. Once in a long while you may found one online on a job website but thats rare. If you do an advanced search on yahoo, you will find previous answers, sometimes the info on these is good as the info they gave is likely to have been verified if the answer was voted as 'Best'.

Here is some website that have actual work at home jobs that are legit. wahm.com and workplacelikehome.com (this one is the best) I work with West at Home as an at home customer service rep. It is a legit job, doesnt pay very much but at least it is at home. I get paid 7.50 hr. there are other lines u can get on that pay better, but it just depends which line they are hiring for at the moment. There are other companies tho such as, liveops, teletech, alpine access and so forth there are many more!

If you are looking for a list well this site has some for you to consider. Its for UK & worldwide anyway http://www.sellit-right.com/index.php?a=5&b=14 Avon and Uk's The Body Shop are good. Info - signs of a potential work at home scams below; "Work at Home" appears in the ad header. In a legitimate lead, the title of the job -- “Accountant,” “Web Designer,” “Medical Transcriptionist” -- is what you usually see first, and "work from home" is not a title. If it appears in the ad header there's a good chance it's a come-on. (Scammers place it there because they know that “work at home” is the phrase that so many people are eager to see.) No job description. What exactly is the job? Many scams won’t tell you -- or will only allude to -- what you’ll be doing. (Why? So you’ll get in touch to learn more, so they can reel you in.) Real hirers will always at least summarize what it is you’ll be expected to do. You have to pay for more information about the job. Legitimate employers don’t ask candidates to pay money to learn more about a job.
