If you went 4 a job interview and they asked you what your weakness is, what would be your answer?

Weaknesses are your positive skills categorised as negative so as to leave a good impression. All the above are very good examples of depicting ur weaknesses. I can give you an example of my weakness. I cant sit idle. Here you can mention what you try to do so u r not idle. it could be reading something useful and relevant to work or personality development, etc It could also be surfing the net.

Answer: I'm a hard working person. This at times becomes my weekness, coz whn I'm in middle of my work everything else becomes secondary for me, be it my family, my comfort or my time.

Trying to balance between teamwork and taking charge when a member of the team lags behind. I reckon it does increase my personal workload but remember one member's failure equals the whole team's failure.

I am just toooooo hardworking

My lecturer told me to name out my weaknesses truthfully, but adding something behind so that it would turn out to be a positive attribute. Something like: I have little patience. I cannot stand it when people don't make the standards I set. Maybe it's due to the fact that I'm a semi-perfectionist and would want everything to be nicely done. OR I'm a little naive, that's cause I tend to trust people around me too much. I don't believe in gossiping about others as I trust all of them to be different.

Be realistic about your weaknesses. You may add how you are addressing those weaknesses or what your plans are. Knowing them is winning half the battle. Interviewers appreciate transparent responses backed with a plan.

I know its cliche, but always say something that is really a good thing. That you take your work home. That you personally invest in projects. You can't leave at the end of the day unless all your work is done. You're a team player to such an extent that sometimes you sacrifice your own image to make your coworkers and superiors save face. Etc...

If it's "SALES", tell them that you have a problem taking "NO" for an answer...... You're IN !
