It's OK to be nervous...no one got fired for being nervous...no one was ever not hired for being nervous...practice being nervous! Be the most nervous person they ever saw. OWN BEING NERVOUS! Oh, and practice PRACTICE several stories about what happened to you at your last job and what you learned.

The question about your weaknesses is a trick question to see if you'll actually reveal something incriminating. Instead you should think of a work habit that you have that really isn't a bad thing - for example maybe you are a bit too much of a perfectionist, or your family complains that you think about work after hours. Think of issues that you've had at other jobs and how you could phrase it in a positive way.

Make your weaknesses your strengths... i.e. My weakness is my need to complete tasks. sometimes I'll stay all night to finish a project. Anything like that would be good. Find out who you're interviewing with and adjust your interview accordingly...i.e. If its with a small business owner tell him how hiring you will help his company make more money.... If its with a mindless drone at a fortune 500 company they only care about job security... so tell them how hiring you won't be a mistake and will make them look good to their boss. (sad fact, in large companies the only thing of importance to most people is keeping their jobs, they don't care if the company makes or loses money)

Your question is unclear, but I gather that you are looking for a weakness in case you are asked for an example. Your best bet will be to find a weakness that can be turned into a strength. For example, you could say that your weakness is that you are too nit-picky with details and that you always have to spend extra time making sure that everything is done correctly. You could say that this is a weakness, but the interviewer will think that you are detail oriented and thorough. Instead of hurting yourself you project a positive trait.

There's two schools of thought on giving weaknesses in interviews. One says to make weaknesses sound like they're good things. The other side says that admitting a weakness in an interview actually shows a strength. I shoot for somewhere in between. If you have a tendency to be late, say "I sometimes overextend myself by taking on too much." Good luck!

make sure you know about the company you want to hire you. Dress well & not flashy or trashy. Be sure you know what you want from the company. Pretend you are interviewing them. Be confident about your abilities. Write a list of your good points, let them ask you what you can do for them. Forget your weaknesses unless you are asked about a specific chore. Be honest!

Awesome, I do too!!! For one thing, have good posture. Dress really nice. No jeans, no casual shirt, but nice. Always speak up. Don't talk in a low voice. Show confidence. Learn your vocabulary and grammar! Y'know... Say big words to them and stuff. xP Don't cover your face at all. If you have any piercings, take 'em out and wear only 2 earrings. Always look directly in the eyes. It's ok to take time with your answers, but don't take too much time. Never look down. If you're nervous, do what the first person on here say... Wiggle your toes. Keep your jewelry to a minimum. Mmmk, that's about it so far.

Depends on the type of job, but dress is very important. The weakness question....answer like this. "Let me give you an example of a weakness I had in the past and how I improved." GIve an example...At one point of time when someone would tell me the "gossip" in the office I would listen and take it serious. Now I understand that everyone's point of view is slanted. I make my own decisions on the character of people. Don't go in like you already have the job, act like it has to be a two way fit prior to accepting. Anytime there is a silent awkward moment, ask the person interviewing if there is a specific talent they are looking for.
