Why are Disney Channel's commercials long?

so they can make money off of everyone between 2 and 17 like they do with everything else. it also makes the shows shorter making filming cheaper

It does get annoying, the 30 mins shows are really only like 13 mins long the rest is all the same commercials over and over and over again......

Unfortunately, Disney has been all about the money the last several years. Just look at all the crappy squeals they have put out recently. They were just to get more money and the way they run the Disney channel is no different. By having more commercials they get more revenue from them and they reduce production costs by having shorter shows.

oh, yes. Disney is huge on making money. They're evil. As for the celeb's on Disney, it's absolutely sad. The Jonas Bro's CANNOT act. I don't say that to be mean. I say that seriously. I'm a Media Major studying screenwriting and directing. Those boys can't act. Even when they try a little slapstick comedy, they can't pull it off. (I can tell that they do try, but it's not TV Show professional enough.) Again, seriously not being mean. Frankie is the only one who has natural acting talent. I got so upset when I saw their show for the first time. I thought, "Could Disney do that?!" >8( How could they tell singers they act great, just to make money? And this is Disney, not some small unknown channel. It's messed up. Disney is tight on auditioning new people, but if your already a star they will hire you without acting talent. Disney IS only trying to make money off of celebrities any way they can and the celeb's are fine with it. Young celeb's only work for Disney for a certain time period just to START their careers. Some celeb's are into indie films, others are into Hollywood films. After Disney boosts their careers, the celeb's then leave Disney. That's the way it goes. Disney started a college called Disney College. Every student must work for Disney. You get paid, but it's never enough money to bring back home and from what I here, Disney is SCARY to work for. They tend to hide a lot of dangerous information. I can't imagine what it would be like to be Disney's talent(actors/singers).
